Crash on startup

Hi all,

 

Apologies if this has been answered. I couldn't find any relevant topics on "startup hang" or similar.

 

When Accordance starts after a crash I get the popup "Accordance crashed or was not quit properly..." and if I don't start in Safe Mode neither the Cancel or Recover buttons do anything. They flash, but nothing happens.  

 

If I start in Safe Mode and remove the startup session, it will begin.  However, sometimes it is hung - nothing on the app responds to any mouse events.  It won't scroll, change tabs, etc. To get this to recover requires a reboot of the computer.  

 

I've reinstalled the app, but only an older base app with updates.  I'm thinking a clean copy would help.

Try Safe Mode and removing your Startup session (pressing option/alt as you start Accordance to see all the options).
