Quran-T Search syntax

Is the search syntax for the Quran-T module documented.

I checked after the upgrade to see if I was able to search for اله and after the 12.3.5 upgrade it now works but I had to choose search from a known instance to figure out how to type it i.e. "اله=".

It must be typed in the order that appears on the screen from right to left but it will be displayed as "=اله" when the final quotes are entered; It is displayed in the wrong order until the quotes are closed.

The entry of the Arabic text is a little confusing and I am not sure why the quotes are required (but the search does not work when they are not present.

Additionally, it would be nice to have a "letters" search like there is in Hebrew.

Is this in the desktop version or a mobile?

If desktop, have you tried right-click and search for the Lexical or Inflected?

It is the Desktop version (I do not believe Quran-T works in Mobile). Yes, I can use the right click (which is how I figured out the syntax) but that requires me to first locate an occurrence of what ever I intend to search for. If I am not sure where the search term occurs in the text then it because a little difficult to search this way. This is why I want to know search syntax so I can type in the search criteria.

If you enter a term without quotes it searches for the lexical form, with quotes it searches for the inflected form, as it appears in the text. That will give fewer results.

Quran-T is supported in our mobile apps.

iOS: Yes; Android: So I know it is one of the few (all Qur'ans) which are not supported yet.

This is incorrect. When I enter without quotes I do not get results. When I right click a word and search for lexical form, Accordance adds quotes.

Using the latest version I find:

Search for Lexical form from right click: does not add quotes, did add = sign until I turned that off in Select Lexical forms, but it works

Selecting a word, Copy a lexical form and paste works

Choosing a form from Select Lexical Form also works

However, trying to type in the word in either the entry box or the Select Lexical Form entry is giving me the wrong font, and is NOT working. This is a bug that our developers will look into.

Windows or Mac (I am using windows and I know that some bugs have cropped up in the windows version that were not problems on a mac)

OK, I tested on Windows 10:

Using the latest version I find:

Search for Lexical form from right click: does not add quotes and it works, and search for Inflected form works

Selecting a word, Copy a lexical form and paste does not work, the font is messed up.

Choosing a form from Select Lexical Form does not work, the dialog returns with a selection at the end of the list of words.

Again, the developers will check it out.
