Separate Highlighting Schemes for Each Tab/Pane?

I have one set of highlights I use in the Greek and another set I want to use in English versions.

 

Is it possible to have two or more highlighting schemes active that are unique to a tab or a pane?

I could work with separate highlights in each tab, but it would be even nicer to have them in separate panes. (I'm thinking of when I have Greek and English in the same tab.)

 

If not, I would suggest this a good feature request.
