vparunak
What's the most direct way to find all verses in two versions where one verse contains one word and the other version contains another? For example, I'm interested in verses where LXX contains cognates of εγγυς in LXX but KJV contains "surety" or an extension (say, a search for surety*). If I were within a single version, I'd be doing an <AND>. Is there a way to do an <AND> across versions in different languages?
Mark Allison
You can use the CONTENTS command to do what you need. The CONTENTS command uses the verse list (not the words themselves) in one tab as the base search text. There are no hits for the search you're looking for, but if you enter "God*" instead of "suret*" you can see how it works.
