Bielikov
Beginners question: When I read, "Hitpael participle ms absolute" in instant details does that mean infinite absolute? Or could it have another meaning? Thanks! I'm particularly interested in this: Edited September 22, 2019 by Bielikov
TYA
does that mean infinite absolute? I'm guessing you mean "infinitive absolute" here. And it is a good question you ask. My guess would be that "absolute" in this case is in constrast to a "construct" state. But I'm not sure, since "absolute" and "construct" usually refer to noun states, not verb states (that I'm aware of). mbcvida
Participles are verbal Adjectives and thus they can be in the construct state https://accordance.bible/link/read/Pratico-Van_Pelt_Hebrew#3689
