Add Marked Verses to Reference List (not working)

Can someone explain why I'm not given the option to "Add Marked Verses to..." here?  I'm trying to add the bookmarked verses you see to a separate reference list, but the option is grayed out.  Similarly, if I try to open them as a new reference list another way, it doesn't work, as also shown in this screenshot.
