droth46
I am new to Accordance because of the Hebrew & Greek word study features. But like another Bible program I have, I would love to see an option to click on any Hebrew or Greek word and hear it pronounced (Windows version). A little "speaker" icon underneath the transliteration would be ideal for functionality. Thanks for reading!
miketisdell
Accordance has the ability to hear each verse (rather than word) and that is better as pronunciation can be affected by the words the precede or follow the word you are listening too. And if you are really wanting to learn the language, this is a far better aid to understanding it.
Michael Hunt
The mounce concise Greek English dictionary has audio recordings for each word. None (yet?)for Hebrew. Of course the caveats described above also apply when using the dictionary.
ukfraser
Slightly off topic but following on about the word in context, there are also two audio recordings Hebrew https://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=Hebrew%20Audio-OT Greek https://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=GNT%20Audio With all the usual discussions and adherents about how a word should actually be pronounced. But these are useful resources. Edited October 3, 2019 by ukfraser
