Kristin
To make this post even make sense, I will mention that I don't see that great. I thus need to make sure the text I use is large enough. When I work with notes, I usually use 24 pt font, and it views as 24 pt font. And that works great. (I don't standardize notes since I use different fonts). However, when I work with tools, it is completely different. I have it also set to view at 24 pt font, and it does. However, when I create or edit a tool, the text MUST be set to 12 pt font. (I likewise can't standardize tools since I use different fonts). - If it is 12 pt font in the edit window, it will view saved as 24 pt font. - If it is set to 24 pt font in the edit window, it will view saved as 48 pt font. I thus need to do all my edits with 12 pt font, but I can literally hardly see it. I am sure this is an obvious setting error, but I can't figure it out. I am attaching a screenshot which will hopefully clarify this. Thank you for any help you are able to provide. Sincerely, Kristin

Kristin
Hello Kristin I've requested https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/24896-view-size-in-user-notes-and-user-tools/?hl=sizehopetully this came with Accordance 13. Greetings Fabian Fabian, I think I figured it out. In the tool edit screen, set the font to whatever you want and save it. Once you do, the font will look insanely huge, but there is that little AA on the top right. If you keep pressing the small A, it will decrease and you can set it to a good size. Once you leave the screen and come back to it, the tool will remember what you set it to and you won't need to keep fiddling with it.
Fabian
Hello Kristin I know this feature, but this is not the one I suggested. The feature you mentioned does change the font size in the file. So if you work on a (huge) file and you select all --> increase the font size, then the whole font size of the file messed up. The feature I mentioned does only increase the visual font not the font of the file. It is like pinch to zoom. This feature is missing in User Tool, User Note Edit Window. But is it in the Accordance Paper feature. Greetings Fabian Edited October 14, 2019 by Fabian

For my immediate concerns I am just grateful to have found a way to see what I am working on, but you are certainly correct that the feature you mentioned is missing, and I agree with you that it would be great if Accordance adds it. Take care, Kristin
Joel Brown
Kristin, User Tools are standardized around a font size of 12. If you set your User Tools tab (not edit window!) to size 12, then what you see in the edit window will match what you see in the tab. As you show in your screenshot, your size is set to 24 in the tab, which explains why everything is doubled. Try setting this back to 12, and instead increasing the font size in your edit window up to 24.
