This is a major update of one of the most widely used Bible translations in the French-speaking world today. The Bible en français courant has been in existence since the 1970s and is used by Protestants, Catholics and Evangelicals. Its translation philosophy is between that of dynamic equivalence and linguistically/theologically informed paraphrase. The revised edition is somewhat closer to a "literal" translation of the Greek and Hebrew than its predecessor, while still retaining the goal of being understandable to a wide French-speaking audience. The revisions were undertaken by a team of sixty specialists, on the basis of the original Greek and Hebrew texts. You can read about it here, and get some more detailed information here. I would strongly suggest an Accordance edition! If there is interest, I would be willing to put Accordance into contact with some of the people involved in the production of this version.
