R. Mansfield
In Accordance 13, we're taking highlighting to the next level with pen markup and whiteboard drawing. Markup such as you see here even stays where it should if you resize text or change column width! By the way, the release of Accordance 13 is close. If you're still running v. 11 or earlier, upgrade NOW and receive v. 13 for free when released!
Benjamin Gladd
What??? This is, by far, the biggest unveiled feature. Figures crossed for iOS Apple pencil compatibility.
mgvh
To be able to have pen markup and whiteboard drawing is indeed extremely helpful. In Acc12, highlighting is limited to shading and boxing of text (color, intensity, shape, pattern). I'm hoping highlighting will also include the option to change text color. That would be excellent! Rich
I'm with Benjamin — this would be amazing with pencil support on the iPad.
R. Mansfield
To be clear, right now this just applies to Accordance 13 in macOS and Windows. We always hope to add features from the desktop app to our mobile apps, but the mobile apps are always playing catch up to a certain extent. Having said that, I don't know if anyone's tested running v. 13 with Sidecar in Catalina. It would be interesting to know if the Apple pencil can make these drawings in Sidecar. I've not installed Catalina yet, so I can't tell you. And our beta testers can't tell you because they can only post about Accordance 13 features in the beta forums. Waiting is always difficult!
Paul Meiklejohn
Rick, looking at the screenshot above, using Apple Pencil, sidecar and Accordance certainly sounds feasible. However, even if it's not quite there yet, you can see how close the possibility of it is. If it its not in this release, I'm sure its within reach of 13.1. This is a great step forward.

mac98aop
I just installed Catalina on my MacBook Pro and iOS 13 on my iPad. The Apple Pencil works like a charm for marking up in Accordance 13! This is very good news. Well, I say "good" as it now starts to 'justify' a new iPad, Pencil and Accordance upgrade. I currently print and annotate in coloured pens by hand, so this sounds brilliant. A couple of quick questions if I may, 1. Is there anything on screen on the iPad whilst you're annotating, or does it function like a Wacom (ie, you watch the Mac screen)? 2. How are highlights saved - ie, directly on to my Bible version or into a copy? eg. I'd like to have fresh highlights for a passage every time I preach it, rather than simply add to it each time. 3. Do the highlights and pencil annotations sync to iOS Accordance - ie, can I carry on with them on the iPad when away from my desk? Thanks so much Adam London, UK

Diatheke76
Mac98aop, The Whiteboard drawing ✍️ (mark ups) don’t get saved, only the actual highlights and underlines without whiteboard mode get saved. The whiteboard mode is for marking “live” during a presentation. If you want a copy of your whiteboard mark ups you can take a screenshot of it before clearing the whiteboard. Very helpful, thank you. So a good and useful feature, that might become a great and essential feature in future releases I wonder.... !
Diatheke76
Where in the world is the attach image clip icon in here? I want to attach an image and there is no option. There's one that says "image" but opens up a window that asks me to insert a link. Edit: Wow, even under settings "Manage my attachments" I removed some old pictures I had there, but here is no option to upload new ones. Did something change? I never thought it would be so hard to post a picture here. Edited December 10, 2019 by Diatheke76
