ChrisL Posted October 22, 2019 Share Posted October 22, 2019 I am sure this is common and I am doing something wrong and tried to search existing posts, but couldn't find anything. I currently use Windows and Android. Both Windows and Android are using the correct highlights file (I am aware of the mobile highlights file being default for Android and switched it). I did highlighting awhile ago (and kinda stopped for some reason) and those older highlights are synced just fine between my Android devices and Bible translations (original language and English translations). Within the last couple weeks though, I have started highlighting again, but the highlights are not showing up on different translations. I have some highlights on my NASB translation that do not show up anywhere else, some on ESV that don't show up anywhere else....this is VERY FRUSTRATING. The same thing is happening on my Android device. To make it even more frustrating, is my NASB highlights on Android do not show up on my NASB on Windows and visa versa. I have highlights everywhere between different Bibles and devices and nothing is syncing. I am hitting the "sync dropbox" on all my devices, but no joy. What am I doing wrong? If I recall correctly vs highlights do at least where versification is common between the modules. Word highlights don't because the words are not the same in all translations. http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/Win12/Default.htm#topics/05_dd/highlighting_words_verses.htm I would expect the same to be true of the mobile app. Does that apply to your highlights ? It stinks that I have been experimenting with which translation works best for my studies in Accordance, so have highlights spread out among different translations.
