If this is not appropriate then I won't mind it being deleted by the powers that be...

I created a YouTube video on my Theotek channel showing how to use Accordance 13 to view Logos and Wordsearch books. Also has a link to my website write up on this.

Would love your feedback over there in the comments below the video.

Planning a what's new show later...

Kevin, Kevin, Kevin!  Are we allowed to do such a thing? Surely the logic of Deut. 22:11applies to software as well. I am shocked, Sir—simply shocked!

—Joseph (as he attempts to do the same with every web based tool he has) ;)

PS: Has anybody tried this with web based e-book readers?

I guess bookmarks for Internet sites would be great to have fast access.

Greetings

Well done!  Fantastic illustration of the power of the web browser.  Now it's even more accessible with the shortcut.

I think it's perfectly fine to show ways to transition from those other guys to Accordance :-)

I concur. Having bookmarks makes perfect sense.  Now that we see the flexibility of Kevin's work.  Even though I don't have any bible software, there are lots of other biblical sites I would love to jump to quickly.

I use a user notes file for bookmarks. Works really well (albeit not perfect).

Kevin, this is absolutely incredible.  Thanks for the info and making it so easy to follow in the video.

I just tried with Amazon Cloud Reader - you can view your books but the Accordance right-click part of my tutorial doesn't work in Cloud Reader. See below

Thanks Kevin for this cool video.

Does any one try "L" bible software with Mac osX 10.12.6 with Accordance 13?

It only show up the layout of it without any contents and modules.

"Enable compatibility Mode".. pure win.

That's the key. BTW that's a feature in the Logos Web App and not in Accordance 12/13. I had a commenter on my Youtube video who was confused about that.

Great tip! Unfortunately it is not working for me on Windows. The Logos online app isn't working in the Accordance web browser.

Hi all. Is this still working? I just upgraded to Accordance 13 on my MacBook Pro and I can open up the Logos page, but it doesn't let me do anything. I can click on "sign in" but it doesn't open anything up. Am I the only one having this problem?

Welcome to the Windows 10 Club. Mine won’t let me do anything either.

Thanks Diatheke76. I was aware of the problem with the Windows version. But based on Kevin Purcell's video and explanations, it should work on Macs, at least at the beginning. So I'm surprised to see this on my MacBook Pro (admittedly an older one). Has "the other company" blocked things so that this is no longer possible?

Indeed. Looks as if it's not working via Accordance's Mac app. I had tried it before, but now it doesn't work. I can access it via app.logos.com via another browser (Firefox).

I am on Mac Mojave with Accordance 13.0.2. All worked as in the OP except the toggle under the login users badge is now "enable/disable limited view mode".

I have not tried it on the windows side yet.

Thanks Eric and Solly,

Re Solly's remark, it may then be my OS which is not recent (Mavericks). Perhaps the browser isn't as good on older OS's? I've had mixed results with it on other web sites... I do regret not being able to use that functionality, one of the reasons for which I upgraded.

Issue for me on Windows as well. The sign in buttons don't do anything. I am signed in with L**** on Edge and Chrome.
