13: Text Command Search Question

Dr. Nathan Parker

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to use the new Text Search Command to search the MT for a Hebrew term (I need to run two separate searches, goy, and am) and display the results in the LXX? I would be curious to see these.

Thanks!

HI Nathan,

I am not very fluent in Hebrew, but using the tutorial for running a text comparison search I came up with this. If the hebrew words are not what you meant, you can just change them. You may be able to combine the words with an OR in the first text search, but someone from Accordance would need to assist in that. I suggest you use the tutorial as it sets the steps up for you to get to this search.

The key is to choose the Hebrew text when you run the Text command and then the LXX when you run the search.

Should get you started until someone more skilled comes along.
