never synched error message

Earlier I could not synch between iOS and macOS versions of Accordance. I can, but consistently get the error message that the devices have never been synched.

Then it indicates that there was a previous synch!

I only use Accordance on my MacBook Air, iPhone, and iPad (three devices):

Accordance for Mac 13.0.2 [Mac OS X 10.15.2 Mid 2013 11 inch MacBook Air]

Accordance for iOS 3.0.4 (3.0.3.11461) [iOS 10.3.3 iPad 4th generation], [iOS 13.3 iPhone XS]

I posted too soon. While I can synch with my old iPad today, I cannot synch with my iPhone XS. Attempted synching kicks the iPhone Accordance out. Restarting it seems to confuse macOS Accordance, yielding a blank selection window:

Further attempts cause both the iOS and the macOS versions of Accordance to crash.   :o

Much the same behavior as Michael noted with iOS and macOS versions of Accordance. I am now unable to sync phone and MacBook. Only the iOS side crashes for me; macOS gives the screen Michael posted ( with data appropriate for my devices) and just waits for an action on my part. All software is current version.

Same here - can we get a response from Accordance support please?

All, I have logged your issues and promise to get to them as soon as I can. I know that syncing issue can be especially frustrating.

Hello,

Here to report the same thing. My first-world problems led me to get an iPhone 11 Pro and now I too can report that the WiFi sync is completely busted, crashing iAccord consistently.

However oddly enough, for my iPad WiFi sync is seemingly OK today. We'll see how many modules it can get through. On that one, the personal data sync is broken, reporting something about the AccordanceFiles folder having been changed on the device(?)

Attempting to synch with iPad caused MacOS Accordance to crash. Restarting allowed me to synch, but I am still getting the "never synched" warning.

I've got the fix for it in the pipeline. It included needed fixes on the desktop side of things as well.

I may have the same problem, but not sure how much it's my fault. I did a clean install on my Mac, went through the erase and sync with my iPhone like a dutiful, but found it kept asking me. THEN I found my prev prefs in the library and application support folders, and ported them across. The setup in Accordance on Mac looked fine, but the erase and sync still happened. Again, did it dutifully, but it asked again and crashed the iPhone app when it did. Maybe I'm not in the same boat as y'all above, but worth throwing it into the ring.

pme,

When you brought back your previous settings files it also brought back a bit of corrupted data concerning syncing. I've seen this help some folks. If you delete this file: /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Accordance/Accordance Preferences/General.apref that corruption will be removed.

Let me know how that works for you.

Did my above suggestion not work in your case?

Graham

I thought your suggestion was directed to pme, so I did not try it till this morning. That did work to prevent macOS Accordance from crashing. I was able to synch both iOS devices, though the "never synched" warning persists.

Thank you very much!

I do not know what changed, but I am not getting the "never synched" error message.

Thank you Accordance folks!

Now Accordance just hangs when I try to sync my iPhone or iPad and I have to force quit accordance - is there a fix for these sync errors coming soon?

Gordon,

For iOS the issues, as far as have been reported up to now, have been addressed and released.

The desktop will see these issues addressed with v13.0.4 which you should see released soon.
