Christopher Smith
I just wanted to let everyone know that Hook, the new application from CogSci for creating links between documents, web pages, and almost anything on your Mac has been scripted to include Accordance! Rob Trew has created the JavaScript script which is already included with any installation of Hook, so that bi-directional links to locations within Accordance can be created. It's a little too complicated to explain all that Hook does, but you can read more at the Hook website. The script which Rob Trew wrote even allows you to specify whether you want accord:// or https://accordance.bible/link style links. Of course, we love when we're able to pull all our stuff into the Accordance environment, but there are items on the desktop which would be great to link to and from that will always end up outside Accordance, and Hook is a great way to tie it all together! Kudos as well to Accordance developers who have given the hooks necessary in the code for others to be able to build this kind of external tools!
