Pastor Jonathan
I love the idea that we can get the PDF as a tool in our version 13. I have tried to import a PDF to test it and it does not seem to work. Â I import as a new tool. It shows as imported and then shows up under my tools. When I go to open the PDF it is nothing but a blank Screen. Am I missing anything? Thanks.
Fabian
Hello  Can you copy and paste from your PDF or it is more like an image? If it is like an image then you have to make an OCR first.  Greetings  Fabian
Pastor Jonathan
I scanned my files into a scanned PDF. Â That may be an image then. If that is the case, how do I make an OCR? Â Thank you so much for the help.
Fabian
Normally if you buy a scanner or a Printer with a scanner, an OCR software is included. Was there any other software in the box? On a CD or so?
Pastor Jonathan
No, I did not receive anything like that. I can scan into any number of image docs but I do not think that an OCR was one of the options. I will check real quick.
Fabian
As a Windows user you have probably MS One Note. If yes, then you'll find on the internet with a search engine (I prefer Startpage.com) a lot of support. Also as youtube videos.  Or there are other free OCR engine you can use.
