Accordance 13.0.3 comes with a new "User Metric." This sounds interesting. Can someone explain how it is measured and what it means?

The release statement reads:

"Added a new user metric, ‘Usage’, which is reported in the About Accordance dialog. It shows the percent of time spent over the prior 6 months being active in Accordance (multiplied by 50x for a nicer number)."

On a side-note, I'm curious if Accordance gathers usage statistics? I think they should. It would be interesting to know what percentage of users utilize certain features.

In particular, what is "being active"? If I have Accordance as the topmost app on my screen when I walk away from my computer, am I still active for another five minutes until the screen saver kicks in?

Two things:

1) How can I disable this?

2) On updating it went from 0.00 (splash screen on startup) to 5000.00 (immediately after launch.)

5000% of the past six months spent actively using Accordance?

Duh

When you divide that by 50 it comes to 100%.

Makes no sense to me.
