Brian W. Davidson
I've always had Lewis and Short as my default Latin dictionary, but since using Live Click, I've started noticing that most (many? all?) of the Vulgate words I look up are in the "Latin Dictionary" described on its product page as https://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=Latin%20Dictionary "A simple dictionary with definitions of Latin words, included with purchase of the Vulgate." Does anyone have more information about this dictionary? Does it include all words in the Vulgate? How was this produced? Thanks.
Λύχνις Δαν
The About this Text ... points to LATIN DICTIONARY Latin Dictionary Derived from a text available at <http://www.tidbits.com/matt/LatinDictReadMe.html>. Electronic text hypertexted and prepared by OakTree Software, Inc. Version 1.3 That URL redirects to http://www.apeth.net/matt/LatinDictReadMe.html which gives a 404. So no not really I'm afraid. Graham Buck
If you lowercase the entire redirect url it functions properly. Though, it's not very helpful in regards to your question: Thanks to Florin Neumann for posting to the Internet the text of the dictionary. I don't know where the original text came from, but I'm sure glad it exists. An archived page at Notre Dame (http://archives.nd.edu/latgramm.htm) this to say: This dictionary defines about 15,600 words. Florin Neumann, who found the data on the Internet and reformatted it for the Macintosh, says that it may not be used for commercial purposes. Matt Neuburg reformatted it so that it would operate on the Macintosh as a memory-resident searchable dictionary. As for this enigma, Florin Neumann, I could find very little. Apparently someone of the same name submitted a Romanian keyboard for use with the Mellel word processor. Another, or the same, person published an article titled, ‘Glass: Liquid or Solid -- Science vs. an Urban Legend’. An F.A. Neumann published, in Review of palaeobotany and palynology, a paper titled "The taxonomic status of Wetzeliella samlandica Eisenack, 1954." So there you go. [This is me responding as a user. I've got no insider information about this module.] Edited January 30, 2020 by Graham Buck

BTW, I couldn't just cut and paste the URL from the About text but had to copy the lot to the clipboard and paste it elsewhere and then extract the URL. It would be nice if that could be simplified. I don't have the option to attach an image anymore--neither in Google Chrome, or Internet Explorer. Did you change the forum somehow? See attached screenshot (as I am able to post one in this thread, but not in the new thread(s). Edited January 30, 2020 by TYA

BTW you need to be a super member nearly as you only have 17MB left to upload. As a super member you have then again 1000MB more. Double check me on this, but I believe you're not able to post images in the Announcements section (unless you're an administrator), but you should be able to post images anywhere else. If this is not the case, let me know and I'll look further into it.

And yes, I can still post images elsewhere. Thanks much for the clarification. Edited January 30, 2020 by TYA
