Just a quick question, is it possible to have speech and reading mode selected at the same?

If I start speech running, I cannot seem to select reading mode.

thanks

John

It depends on the order.  While speaking, you cannot do much else aside from listen, including entering Reading Mode.  However, if I enter Reading Mode, I'm still able to activate speech just fine, either via Cmd-9, or Right click -> Look Up -> Speak.

hi Joel.

Thanks for the help.

If when in reading mode, and I use the right click -> look up -> Speak, it exits the reading mode and starts the speech.

However the Cmd 9 works perfectly. I wasn't aware of that shortcut.

Thanks again for the help. :)

John
