Richard Elliott Friedman translation

I am still hoping to add Richard Elliott Friedman's excellent translation and commentary "Commentary On The Torah." Is that a possibility?

yes I agree wholeheartedly - I had forgotten about this... an excellent choice

 

I remember being very impressed with his Disappearance of God, I must dig that out as well as Daniel Matt's God and the Big Bang

+1- I would like this but prefer that Accordance focus on original language texts first. That said- this is a good resource

I've requested this in the past too

It's one of my favourite translations and there are insightful comments as well

Also he was my professor in San Diego

his disappearance of God is a really good work if you are interested in the patterns of 'how God drifts in and out of the Hebrew bible (and not just Yahweh v El v Elohim - though I find that fascinating in and of itself)
