Count Number of Notes within a Stack

I really need the ability to count how many notes are within a stack. I use one stack as a kind of INBOX for my notes. Then I move or delete them later as I process them into other stacks or user notes or ideas for further study.

 

I can see the benefit of having a count of notes within a stack for various reasons:

1. To know at a glance how many notes I've processed from my Stack Inbox in any particular session. This is handy when I know I have 300 notes in a stack and I want to set a goal to process a certain amount each day
2. To know when one stack is getting full and might be in need of splitting into more than one stack
3. As a visual reminder that a stack might need to be reviewed, organized, processed for any number of reasons

As a workaround, I'm having to print to PDF, copy paste to excel, and count using a formula.
