ddarling
I am trying to sync my iPad with Dropbox. I write my sermons in Papers and then I usually sync my iPad then pull up my sermon on Sunday and preach it. But search time I press the sync button, the whole app closes on my iPad. Anything I can do before tomorrow when I have to preacher? Thanks
JonathanHuber
I’d been having some issues with Dropbox syncing too that I haven’t been able to solve. Is your iPad syncing and just not updating? Or is it just not showing user content at all? You could try unlinking from Dropbox and reconnect. Try highlighting something in a module on the iPad and try syncing again. Maybe having new content on the iPad side will help force the sync. You could also try to sync directly with your computer instead of going through Dropbox. In a worst case scenario, you could always delete the app and install it again. It’s inconvenient to set up the app again, but it doesn’t take too long to get a couple of texts and your user content on there so you can get through tomorrow. Sorry this popped up at a bad time. Hopefully something in here will help. Edited March 15, 2020 by JonathanHuber
ddarling
I tried unlinking Dropbox, and then linking it. But it did not help. For some reason I am not able to sync at all. I wonder if there is a way to sync via a chord? I ended up saving the document as a PDF and then opening it up on my iPad. I might continue to do this because one of the benefits of having the PDF is that I can highlight and write notes with my pencil! Thank you for the suggestions!!!
