Drew_A
Hello All, I've been trying to track down a video or at least screen shots of the new Speech refinements in Accordance 13 (particularly for Hebrew and Greek). Can Accordance use the Hebrew Voice (like of the Mac now for instance? As this is one of the main features I am interested in for an upgrade, I would like to see it in 'action.' I attempted to look at the trial but seems like this is removed in the preferences. Could someone point me to a video or post some screen shots? Maybe a quick experience how this compares to 12 and earlier? Thanks for any help, Drew
Joel Brown
Hi Drew! Yes, one of the (many!) improvements in v13 was to support the system voices for Greek and Hebrew. The only "gotcha" is that the voice represents modern Hebrew (and modern Greek), so if you are looking for what people guess is the more traditional pronunciation, this is a bit different. Here's a video demonstrating the Carmit voice reading straight in Accordance: Carmit.m4a.zip For comparison, here's the old voice pronunciation: Fred.m4a.zip
