why1942
So, I'm trying to right click on an English word in ESV+ and use the context menu Look UP > Dictionary to look that "English" word up in a dictionary like Easton's. So, when I do this, it does not look up the English word, but instead looks up the underlining Hebrew or Greek word in a lexicon. When I repeat this process in the WEB translation (not coded to Strong's) it does exactly what I want and looks it up in Easton, then I can use the drop down to pick other dictionaries as well for their entries. I would like to have the option of looking up the English word in a dictionary from any English translation via the right click or look up the underlining Hebrew or Greek if the translation is Strong's coded. Is this possible? Or am I limited based on the underlining coding of Strongs? Thanks, w Edited April 2, 2020 by why1942
why1942
Just figured it out. Right click > Look UP > Dictionary produces the underlining word in the original language if the translation is coded to Strong's. Right click > Look Up > Dictionary (Hold Shift) looks up the English word in the translation. Works perfect.....
