Drewster
(word1,word2,word3) vs word1 <OR> word2 <OR> word3 I think the above is equivalent, but it's easier/faster for me to type first sytax. Yet: 1. When I do flex search and paste in a range -- e.g., (toil, labor, work, effort), or 2. When I do a flex search and build a range -- e.g., enter ( and type toil and hit enter and enter , and type labor and hit enter, etc I am prompted to choose words from a list, even if the word is already in the list. Why? I am prompted to choose words from a list, even though the words are already in the list (1), or I already selected them from the list while I built my search text (2). Why? Mark Allison
I'm not seeing that. When I type in (toil, labor, work, effort) [RANGE Matt] as a flex search in the ESVS (for example), it works as expected. What Text and range are you using?
Drewster
Thank you, Mark. I now can't recreate the problem. I guess that's a good thing for me. Since I was having that problem I upgraded from 12 to 13, added modules, and restarted my PC. Pasting in or typing in the syntax is no longer prompting me for words.
