staleyja
I have searched the index and the forums for info on this and haven't come up with my answer, so asking here. I want to open a hyperlinked bible reference in the same bible window instead of it opening in another tab. Is this just a setting in preferences that I have missed? My setup is a bible text tab, a commentary tab and a dictionary tab with the bible and commentary tabs tied together and the bible and dictionary tabs linked so that each scroll together. Thanks, Allen
Helen Brown
This is easy to do but requires specific conditions: Your original Bible tab must be a Text or Context tab, not a Search tab. It must have the Recycle button turned ON. The Bible Reference link such as the Commentary must be in a parallel pane in the same tab. With your setup, you might get the effect you want simply by turning on the Recycle button in the Bible tab, assuming it isn't a Search tab.

Helen Brown
You open a Text tab either by choosing Context for a verse in a Search tab, or by clicking a reference in a tool or other tab type. The major difference is that there is no Search box on a Text tab, it's designed to display all the text, or just the references you selected. It's usually recyclable by default.
