Simulate triple-click

I am having a problem getting triple-click to be recognized on two different Windows laptops.  I have tried changing multiple settings with no luck.  I have tried clicking more slowly and more quickly.  Nothing works.  The odd thing is that I use triple-tap all the time in Accordance textboxes to highlight the entire existing entry to replace it with something new from the clipboard, which is a standard Windows feature  So I know Accordance responds to triple-clicks, just not in the text area.

 

I have been trying this across various updates of Accordance 13.  The two laptops are a Surface Book and a Lenovo Yoga 730-13.  Both of these come without buttons, which seems to be the modern trend.  So the only choices I have are to use the lower left corner as the left-click button or to tap.  I much prefer to tap, though I have tried the "button" as well.

 

For those of us who can't get triple-click or triple-tap to work, it would be nice to have a way to simulate a triple-click in Preferences.
