I have a product question about a Bible version which I do not think Accordance has.

Someone recently pointed me to the "Revised English Version” (REV) and it seems a little unusual. Does anyone know if there is a specific denomination which uses this Bible?

Likewise, does Accordance have this version? I saw both the "Revised English Bible” (REB) and "English Revised Version” (ERV), but neither of these seem to be the REV.

Thank you for any clarity you are able to provide.

Sincerely,

Kristin

It seems the https://www.stfonline.org/revare the one who uses it.

And it seems it is not in Accordance. There is the NT on their website and on Matt 1:2 it uses "and Jacob fathered Judah and his brothers". This is found in the ISV NT and the Green Literal Translation. Both are User Bibles I have. So no Accordance Bible has this phrase.

ATTENTION: My bug reports are all with the GERMAN INTERFACE and with the EUROPEAN NOTATION! It can be the English interface has no bugs, I describe.

PLEASE!
Bring more international Bibles to the store,
fix my reported bugs, even the old ones which never was addressed,
develop my feature requests, the new once and the once I made years ago,
in nearer future.

Hi Fabian,

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I will have to ask my friend how she found this Bible in the first place.

Take care,
Kristin

https://rdtwot.wordp...sh-version-rev/ links to the Unitarian https://www.theway.org, but Nick Norelli comment: "[T] he people producing it are no longer members of The Way International."

And as download https://www.revisede...ersion.com/expt

Hi Fabian,

Thank you for the link. I like comparing different versions, but now that I realize this is not used by a specific denomination and is apparently just the interpretation of a handful of people, I will probably just leave it alone. In addition to that some of the verses are pretty strange, I noticed that the translational theory is not terribly consistent. So I think at this point I will just ask my friend how they came across this in the first place.

Thank you again for the link though, that was very kind of you.

Sincerely,

Kristin
