Harvey
What does the attached error message mean?
Λύχνις Δαν
I don't see any attached error. You can upload a PNG or a TIFF, not JPEG. You cannot just drag and drop it but must attach in after hitting the More Reply Options. Thx D
Harvey
I'll try again. (I forgot to hit "Attach This File" after selecting the file to attach.)
Λύχνις Δαν
Odd, I tried the query (as much as I can see of it) against the HMT-W4 text on Mac 13.1 and it worked fine. Is there any part of the construct we are not seeing in your image ? And, what version are you on ? EDIT: Works on Windows Acc 13.1 also. Thx D Edited June 7, 2020 by דָנִיאֶל
Harvey
I just updated to Windows version 13.1 (from 13.0.1.1) and no longer get the same error. But the search now brings up all m.s. imperatives, not just those with pronominal suffixes. And if I try moving the pronominal suffix to the second column, I get the attached message. So my question is now, how do I correctly search for imperatives with a particular pronominal (object) suffix? Thanks!
Λύχνις Δαν
An imperative wouldn't have a first suffix. It would have a second or a third. Try this: Both second and third work. Thx D
Harvey
Of course it could: שְ֝מָעֵנִי (Gen. 23:11), among many other examples!
Λύχνις Δαν
Ah, sorry - completely misunderstood that. Indeed - hear me. Ooops. Sorry. I was thinking about a 1st singular imperative which doesn't make any sense. Ok, let me see. 23:11 the suffix is tagged as a common not a masculine. Try this: Thx D
