The Journal of Biblical Counseling looks interesting to me. Publisher's product includes 2 additional years. Other than saving me the work of importing the PDFs as User Tools, what is the benefit of buying here vs buying from publisher and importing their PDFs as User Tools? Forgive my ignorance if the answer is obvious. Kind regards

PDF import of that much content would be extremely tedious. Plus, your import wouldn't have all the specific search fields we provide with our products. I'm sure we will eventually update the content to the newer issues.

Thank you, that's a great answer! I think there's great value in having the search fields feature. I do hope the content is refreshed regularly. The articles in the current issue are interesting and so I imagine past articles are, too. Thank you again!

Drewster, I'll just second that the quality will be far and away better in the official module, versus importing documents as a PDF.  If the publication is important to you, and you are able, go with the official (purchased) module.

Thank you Rick & TYA. Getting the Journal of Biblical Counseling in Accordance was a good choice for me.

  * I love the tagging (e.g. abbreviations are spelled out, footnotes, Scripture references all visible in Instant Details).

  * I love that I can search Scripture, Greek & Hebrew & transliterations.

  * I appreciate that the page breaks are indicated.

I didn't realize the publishing schedule. I was expecting more issues per year, and so I was a bit disappointed. But that's entirely on me, I didn't do the research. In case anyone is wondering, there are 31 volumes, which basically correspond to years, and each volume has multiple issues. Note that the TOC top level appears to show there aren't volumes for 1986, '88, '90, '91, 2004, '08-'11. However, diving one level lower in the TOC I see that there are 1-4 issues per year from 1977-2007. (I did not take the time to count total issues; I would if the TOC is exportable. Is it?) And quarterly (3 issues per volume) from 2012-2017.

Also, there is no master article list, nor is there a TOC for each issue. I think a list of articles would be a fantastic value-add! If someone can tell me how to export the TOC I'll try and create that, and could post it to the Exchange. (I tried to copy a volume in various ways and paste into Word, but I found no way when pasting to identify the headers; I tried setting text display to different options; I tried different searches to try to show articles.)

Glad I got this module here in Accordance.
