Drewster
Win 10 + Acc 13.1.1 I had about a dozen open tabs, between zone-bible texts and zone-daily devotions. They were here minutes ago. I've tried restoring autosaved sessions (I have many from today, so they should be in one of them) and every one I restore is blank. Instant Details is visible but it's just gray everywhere else, with one unidentifiable zone open and no tabs Attached are a couple sessions. Do I have any hope here of restoring all my tabs? Drewster
Posted the wrong autosave session. At least the 5:37pm one isn't all gray. Here's the latest one when I first discovered this problem. I'm hoping someone in support can view these files (they appear binary to me when opened in Notepad) and see if there's anything different between them or if contents are salvageable. I am particularly wanting my bible text tabs back (they were researched, needed for a project I'm working on). Thank you. Kind regards!
Silas Marrs
If they were big sessions, I'd expect larger files than these, so I'm guessing the data just wasn't saved for some reason. Are any of the other autosaved sessions larger? If you open a new session, are the autosaves from that also corrupted? I'd like to narrow down if there was anything unique with that workspace that might have triggered some bug in the windows version.
Drewster
Thank you, Silas. Every session in the autosaved folder were the same size, <1KB. And all the ones I opened were the same - no tabs. I made a copy of the folder. I restored an earlier saved version of my workspace and thankfully it had all my tabs. But I did that and reworked the workspace before you replied, so I don't think I can recreate it. I'm sorry. I'll remember this for next time and make sure I save a copy before making changes. Right now my autosaved sessions folder has 50 files and they are all 7-10KB each. I have had multiple saved workspaces open at various times. I'm ok if you don't research this further, since I can't provide you the source workspace saved file. We'll catch it next time if it comes up again? Kind regards.
Silas Marrs
Thanks for the report! I'll leave it on my list of things to fix, but unless a reproducible case comes up, it would be hard to even know where to start looking for the problem.
