brennus390
I'm not sure if this is a good place to ask this question, but I'll give it a go. I'm trying to do a personal study on soteriology and I'd like to use Accordance to examine what the Bible says about various topics. Unfortunately, I don't know all the verses I want to examine, so I tried a search, but that seems very limited. Is there a way I can to a search that also includes my library resources? My assumption being that in one of my resources an author makes a reference to a verse or a series of verses. Perhaps an example would clarify: Let's say I want to learn about 'justification.' I use '' as my search string. I get a list of verses in the Bible, which gives me cross-references for that verse, under topics, i have a couple of hits, but for the 'Justification' item under TOPICS, all I get is an entry from Eardmans dictionary. Is there any way to search my library or am I just completely off base trying to use Accordance in this way to research justification? JonathanHuber
That’s exactly what Research is for! You can open a new Research tab from the menu or tool bar and search your entire library at once.
brennus390
JonathanHuber, thank you for pointing that out, I just found that two minutes ago. I came across 'INFER' so I was playing around with that and noticed 'Research' as an option when right clicking the search field.
