Jesse Dornfeld
Something like the works of Clement, Augustine, Thomas Aquinas and such. Looking of a kind of package for some of these works that is around $40.
R. Mansfield
For Aquinas, check out our Classic II group. It has Aquinas and a lot of other historical writings. And the price meets your limit.
Daniel Francis
Unfortunately outside of your price range SCHAFF'S CHURCH FATHERS AND CHURCH HISTORY MODULES is likely going to be your best bet for the most economical ($129) way to gain access to all the early church fathers. -dan
Solly
I agree with Dan! Also, be patient and watch for sales and special coupons. —Joseph
jlm
Schaff's is definitely the most economical in terms of how many works you get for the price. Another economical option is Lightfoot's Apostolic Fathers at $29.90 list. This just offers Clement and a few of his contemporaries, but you get Greek and English that can be viewed in parallel. The translations are from the 1800s, like Schaff's collection. Lightfoot is a cheaper alternative to Holmes, which has a few more works, a modern translation, Latin parallels, and costs more than three times as much.

c. stirling bartholomew
Reading Greek texts of everything from the Apostolic Fathers to John of Damascus. Searching for greek/english packages similar to Athenasius and Apostolic Fathers. Are these all in one place? I am occasionally getting bogged down trying to map between the Greek texts and the translations. For example Origen comment on Matthew book 16 in Greek where the English only goes to book 14. Wasn't able to locate a package for Origen using the search window on Accord site.
R. Mansfield
Wasn't able to locate a package for Origen using the search window on Accord site. We don't have Origen in Greek yet...but we will soon.

c. stirling bartholomew
Had an exetended and very helpful conversation with an Accord Rep this morning about adding a greek patristic library to my ancient Accordance collection. I wish I could rember her name but at my age name retention is nonexistant. I was looking at the collection that includes Basil on the Holy Spirit, english greek along with Athanasius and several others. My current question is about the English Translations. When no translator name or date is mentioned should I assume this is a public domain text from something like P. Schaff?
R. Mansfield
Most of them are adapted from the Schaff series. They are updated and corrected here and there where necessary.

c. stirling bartholomew
Athanasius doesn't say anything about the translation. Then we can rule out Fr. John Behr.
R. Mansfield
Then we can rule out Fr. John Behr. We will eventually have the translation by Fr. John Behr as we release new volumes in the Popular Patristics series.
