mudum
How can I search in Hebrew Construct a sequence of constructions that occur in two or three verses? For example, I would like to find all the occurrences of the sequence 'Waw Consecutive + Perfect + Lamed + Infinitive Construct' that occurs in one verse and in several verses. Often the sentence is too long and so this sequence may appear in two or three verses.
JonathanHuber
You could change the scope of the search from verse to chapter, though that search would take a while and you'd end up with a lot of spurious hits. To keep that search more tidy, place some limits in the construct so that the words are within a certain range of each other. An alternative approach would be to use syntax tagging. If you already know an example of what you're looking for, select it and amplify to Construct -> Sentence. That will build a construct with all of the syntax tagging. Then just delete out of the construct any elements you don't need. You'll want to keep the scope at chapter for this search as well.
Fabian
If you already know an example of what you're looking for, select it and amplify to Construct -> Sentence. This needs Accordance 13 and up.
