Reaching out to Wordsearch users

Similar to the situation when Bibleworks closed its doors, since last Friday, we've had Wordsearch users contacting us to see what we could do to help them possibility transition to Accordance instead of the company that has purchased Wordsearch. With Bibleworks, we tried to approximate their packages since it was, for the most part, not a platform where additional titles were added regularly for purchase. Wordsearch was a company like ours with a growing library.

Knowing that most WS customers are pastors, we have tried to put together a Collection that would get them started in Accordance, which we're simply calling "WS Crossover" and selling for $199. It's such a good deal when you look at all the content, it makes me want to become an Accordance user all over again! Similar to the BW packages, we're selling this at no- or near-no profit. We're covering royalties, and I don't even know if we're covering office costs since these orders have to be manually processed. In such situations, we always hope that down the road these new customers will feel good enough about Accordance that they will continue to buy more content from us. Anyone who has owned WS in the past can purchase WS Crossover, even if you're already an Accordance user. There is no custom upgrade on it, though, because of the very tight margins.

We have also combined our English, Hebrew, and Greek Specialty Starters into one package, and this is technically available for anyone to purchase (unlike the WS Crossover which is only for former WS users). The individual Specialty Starters normally sell for $99 each, and that is what the combined Triple Starter will sell for now through the end of the year. This is an excellent introductory package for Accordance, and again, anyone can purchase it. Like the WS Crossover Collection, there are no custom upgrades, in this case because this is a Starter Collection.

We need your help getting the word out because obviously, we don't have a Wordsearch user mailing list. Believe it or not, I was still running into people at last year's SBL conference who didn't know that BW had folded, and that was well over a year after it had happened!

We have created two different pages on our website based upon two different audiences.

A landing page for Wordsearch Users who might consider Accordance:

Wordsearch Welcome to Accordance

A blog post asking for the help of Accordance users in spreading the word:

Bible Software Shakeup

We appreciate any help you can give us!

I guess if you had both (BW and WS) you can order both Crossovers.

Yes.

Am I correct to assume that there's no deadline to this offer, as I can see the BW offer is still effective?

Thanks.

There is currently no deadline. If we should add a deadline, we will announce it well ahead of time.

I'm not sure if this is due to the new Accordance website.

Now, when I checked some of the items' pages, it doesn't seem to recognize that my account already owns those items in the WS Crossover: Accordance 13.

For instance, in the following item

https://www.accordancebible.com/product/niv-new-international-version-2011-with-g-k-numbers-and-phrase-tagging/

$49.90

Your Price: $39.90

Pricing includes upgrade discount.

But within my installed Accordance software, when I check under Paid Updates, it shows

NIV11-GK -> NIV11-GKE ($19.90) ... so it should not be $39.90 as above.

Also, if I go to

https://www.accordancebible.com/product/niv-new-international-version-2011-with-g-k-numbers/

$39.90

Your Price: $19.90

Pricing includes upgrade discount.

But I'd already owned this item under WS Crossover: Accordance 13.

In addition, I also own the NIV New International Version 2011 with footnotes.

I think this issue also occurs for the other items in WS Crossover: Accordance 13.Just click any item on the product page, especially those with prices.

Perhaps you could check whether it's the new website issue, or some other issue causing this problem.

Thank you.

I'm a bit surprised when I see that the same package is currently selling at $999. I know your reply is technically correct, but had I known that it would becomes much more expensive later, I might have bought it at that price earlier.

Sign, somehow I didn't see this. I'm not active Accordance user. Somehow the initial promotion caught my eye, but not this final promotion notice.

Call our sales team at (407) 339-5855, and tell them I suggested you ask to see if you could still get the Wordsearch crossover package. There's no guarantee, but a lot of times our sales team can accommodate things like this.
