Trying to understand Accordance upgrade paths

Hi,

 

I didn't own any collection here yet and I'm a little bit confused trying to understand the upgrade path in Accordance.

 

Let say an Accordance 12 owner who do not purchased Accordance 13. Should they use Accordance 12 so that "all features are unlocked", or should they use Accordance 13 Lite to take advantage of a newer software?

 

i.e. is there any reason someone who own an earlier version to not "free upgrade" to a newer lite version?

Stay on 12 to not loose features, which will be lost with the 13 Lite. It is not so, if you own 12 and you install 13 lite you have still the full 12 but also the newer software, but without the new features.

Yes.

The Lite (free) version does not contain all features. You would actually lose features from v. 12 if you just installed the Lite version of 13. 

 

However, you can upgrade to all features in v. 13 for as little as $50.

But Currently the lite version doesnt have all the features of the full version.

If you have 12 and a collection, typically you only have to upgrade the core product which is usually less than the entry Starter (see upgrade on the starter page) but i often take the option to get a collection at the time of upgrade So get the newer version and a few more resources ive been keeping my eye on.
