Notes Editor Always Opens Gen 1:1

The notes editor always opens Gen 1:1 if I re-edit a note that I have just finished editing.

 

Open User Notes in a parallel pane and click on any existing note to focus it. Press Cmd-u, make some change, save it, and close the editor (Cmd-s, Cmd-w). Now press Cmd-u again.  It goes to Gen 1:1, even though the Notes pane still has focus, and the cursor is still blinking in the edited text.  If you close the editor without making changes and then do Cmd-u, it goes back to the same verse, which is what I expect.

 

Quite often, I see something else that I want to change right after I save and close it, so I always have to remember to click in the note pane again before doing Cmd-u.
