Migrating Accordance Files to New iPad Air

I am currently using Accordance 13 on an iPad Air 2. I am getting ready to purchase the new iPad Air. I understand how to get my modules downloaded onto the new iPad.

However, I am concerned about not losing years of user notes (Highlights, Stacks, etc.). What are the steps I need to take to make sure all my user notes from the older iPad get on my new device.

i sync everything using Dropbox back and forth with my Mac Book Pro running High Sierra.

I was told to make sure I back up my user notes from my iPad. I assumed the Accordance files in Dropbox are my backup. No? I am unclear about backing up my user files that are on the iPad. Doesn’t  the iCloud backup using iCloud Drive contains those files as well?  A bit confusing . . .

I do not want to mess this up. I believe I may be confusing backing up and syncing.

thanks!

If you're keeping dropbox synced on your current iPad, you should only need to connect to dropbox and sync it with the new iPad to be good to go.

Thanks Silas. You comment is very helpful. I will give it a “go” when I get the new iPad.
