DoosanMan
I've switched back to Windows. I do part of my Bible reading in Spanish and once in a while run into a word that I don't know what it means. With my Macbook I was using the Mac Services and had it linked to a Spanish-English dictionary. Is there a Spanish-English dictionary available for Accordance or a Windows equivalent of Mac services?
Fabian
Unfortunately not. There are no dictionaries for this purposes. I requested this years ago. As far as I know the Sword Project has a lot.
Diatheke76
I get the impression that Accordance has released all that they can as far as Spanish products is concerned and that there will be no more new Spanish titles being produced. I would’ve love to at least have Vine’s Expository Dictionary in Spanish if nothing else could be made available.
Joe Weaks
I assume what you're wanting is the kind of situation where you hover over a word and the dictionary entry is in the Instant Details, or you amplify the word and it shows it in a dictionary. For clarification, this situation would not happen from simply adding a dictionary. It would include the process of tagging that particular Spanish tool/text. They could easily add a Spanish dictionary, which would be of marginal use. The latter though is a big project and only works for that tool/text.

We will be releasing some Spanish Bibles soon and are looking at a number of other titles for the future.
Diatheke76
Thanks, Rick! I’m glad I stand corrected on this. I hope the new 2020 LBLA (NBLA) is included in those new releases. That’s yhe equivalent to the NASB 2020. It’d be nice if Vine’s and others made it to Accordance also. Thanks!
Mark Allison
The new NBLA and LBLA will be released together with the NASB 2020 in the very near future.
Mark Allison
BTW, you can add an online Spanish-English dictionary of your choice in the Accordance "External Websites" Preference pane. Then, right-click on a word in a Spanish Text or Tool and select "Website—>(name of your selected site)".You can enter the following into the "External Websites" list, though I'm sure there are many other excellent translation sites available: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/spanish-english/*** (Just make sure you add the three asterisks after the web address when adding the URL to the External Websites list) Edited October 24, 2020 by Mark Allison

Fabian
Check deepl.com. I use the Mac app, but there should be also a Windows version. Funktion of the Mac app: Select a part and then press Command-C twice, it opens then the translation. You can also make chages in the Words etc.
