Iconoclaste
So, if you open the Preferences and click on “Bibliography” there is a field that one can fill for “Content Markers:”. It is my understanding that, as a bibliographical note, what we are copying and pasting will have no “Content” at all. Why is this field here? I tried adding a left and right square bracket in here to see what it does, but it does nothing. Underneath is the “Citation Markers:” field and this one actually changes something because it places a left and right symbol at the left and right of the citation when copy-pasted. Is there a purpose for this field? If not, it should be removed, I suppose.
Iconoclaste
Okay, figured it out. The “Content Markers:” and “Citation Markers:” in the “Bibliography” preferences also affect how tools are copied “Copy As”>“Citation”, whereas the “Citation” preferences are only for “Copy As”>“Citation” for text modules. This distinction could definitely be labelled more clearly.
