David Voth
I have the NIV Study Bible from the NIV Study Bible Basic Library. I don't know when it began, but there is a problem that I have with some of the pictures not displaying properly. The maps and some images are fine, but others have large portions of black as seen in the attached image. I notice now that if I copy or save them the images are fine, it is just a problem when viewing within Accordance. Is there anything I could try to get them to display properly? Currently running Accordance 8.2.3 on Leopard.
David Lang
David, I believe this problem only exists with the original version of the NIV Study Bible notes and not the NIV New Study Bible module which is now available. The issue is that some of these images have a transparent background, and where we used to display images in Tools against a white background, at some point we changed that default to black. You can go back to white by checking Use white background for pictures in the Appearance settings of the Preferences. Hope this helps.
David Voth
Thanks. I changed the background to white as you suggested and it displays fine now. David
