Thomas Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 If I amplify a word and it opens in a reference, there seems to always be the "More options" enabled with the extra field enabled set to 1. How do I turn this extra field off globally so that I don't have to click More options and set extra fields 0 each time? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jpkang Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 In case Helen's explanation is not crystal clear, she is referring to the "Include reference when amplifying from text to tool (override with shift key)" preference, which incidentally also helpfully tells you how to disable the feature on a per-use basis!
