Can I sell some of my Accordance modules to other users?

Hi,

Some of my modules have no use anymore to me. Can I sell and transfer the license to other Accordance users? If yes, how?

Blessings,

YingLam

This is such an unusual request; most Accordance users want to add modules not get rid of them!

We do accept the transfer of an entire Accordance license, if the user lets us know that he will no longer use Accordance at all and has sold or given it to another person. That's rather rare. Of course, if that user comes back to buy Accordance again he has to start over and cannot just buy an upgrade.

We cannot allow the transfer of individual modules, but we can allow you to sell an entire Accordance package, the disk and all the contents and unlocks. We expect you to remove all its contents from your copy of Accordance and to inform us of the transfer. Your asccount with us will then no longer reflect that you own that package.

Electronic licensing is a complex issue, and we must respect the rights of the publishers of the materials which we sell.

Helen,

Thanks for the clarification. I'll send a personal note to you.

Are you looking for someone to transfer Accordance licenses over to? If so, I know someone who might be interested. :)

Hello,

I am selling my Accordance XII license including the Original Languages Collection (from Accordance 11) and Greek&Hebrew Discoverer Collection (Accordance 12) along with the NRSV translation and the full BDB lexicon.

It has been almost five years now (August 2012) since the first requests for a more recent Bible translation in my native Dutch language appeared on the Accordance forum and there has been no progress. I'm disappointed and have lost my patience. I'm switching to Olive Tree.

If you're interested in a transfer of my licenses, please PM me!

I can understand you, this is very frustrating.

But I know from a personal message form Helen to me on November 2016, that OakTree has got a contract with the bijbelgenootschap.nl for the post-32723-0-80618300-1495050239_thumb.png.

Greetings

It kills me to even contemplate this but I might need to sell my Accordance license in the near future. I'm not unhappy with Accordance in the least (though an Android app would be awesome) but as a missionary in Asia, I'm finding that I need to be able to add resources that (1)I don't have room to add in print (2)Accordance does not offer or (3)Accordance only offers in a set and others (though unfairly?) sell individually or in smaller sets.

It appears that I can't just sell certain things (commentaries, lexicons, etc.) that I've added individually. So, if I end up having/needing to sell, I guess it's all or nothing. Attached is a list of what I own.

Ryan, please see our terms on transfers, but please also consider carefully. We are adding more individual volumes and you can always ask us for specific ones. If there's something we don't expect to carry soon, you can use it on a different platform and not give up your Accordance. I am sure you will regret it if you do.

I guess some have left Accordance silently as the Bibles had not come.
