Dave Raymer Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 Folks I accepted the upgrade to 8.4 the other day, and am now having the following issue -- when attempting to update a user notes file, I get a nastygram about the user notes file cannot be update due to write permissions and that write permissions can be viewed/changed via the finder "get-info". So when i look in finder/get-info, the write permissions are good (I have read/write). When I check in terminal, the permissions look good (755 on the directories, 644 on the files. Now, the interesting bit is that if I close and re-open my notes, the change I made are there.
