Any clues? intel macbook running snow leopard, latest update Just as a stab in the dark, do you have AirPort running? If so, turn that off and try again. On my MacBook, Accordance 8.x worked fine for a while, but, at some point, it started taking 5 to 10 minutes to start. By accident, I discovered that, if I turn off AirPort, I suddenly got Accordance to run almost instantly.
Helen Brown
Remember that Accordance uses the user preferences, not the ones in the Accordance folder. Have you updated to 8.4 already? Have you restarted the Mac? If so, try renaming the General preferences file.
