gplawhorn
I attended the Kansas City training back in April, and I think I heard something about Accordance copying automatically into Microsoft Word, not just using Copy and Paste, but actually sending the text over with the citation. Is that correct, and if so, how does it work? For those who haven't attended a training time, by the way, it's definitely worth the time. I remember quite a bit of what was discussed, even if did forget the MS Word part!
Ron Webber
I also attended the seminar in KC in April, and I believe I remember the part of the lecture to which you are referring. Roy was discussing the feature in Accordance that allows the user to copy the reference from Accordance and paste it into MS WORD (or Mellel) as a citation that automatically includes the bibliographic data in the footnote. To do this, select the text in the commentary or reference work in Accordance and choose the menuitem "Copy as Citation" (control-command-C), then paste the selection into MS WORD and the resulting text will contain a footnote reference and the appropriate bibliographic data in the note at the bottom of the page. As an addendum, if you are using a clipboard manager (such as CopyPaste Pro), make sure that it is set to paste text with styles or this feature of Accordance will not work correctly. Best regards, Ron
