How Do I Unlock Bibles From my Premiere Level?

Ron Priest

I had originally purchased the Introductory Level package and received the invoice with an unlock key for 1 Bible. I chose the NIV. It installed just fine and all. I contacted Sales and ordered a larger package, (the Premiere Level upgrade along with the Graphic DVD.)

Margaret took very good care of me as she approved the purchase and emailed the receipt for the upgrade. So I suppose that is why my invoice doesn't appear on my Account Order History via my account online, since I didn't order it online. Maybe it has to be manually posted?

Anyway, I received the unlock key for the Premiere Level package and it all installed just fine, but I can't figure out how to unlock my other 2 Bibles that comes with upgrading to that package. Am I doing something wrong, or does Margaret need to give me 2 more unlock keys? They were not listed on my invoice for the Premiere Level package upgrade, but come to think of it, I suppose someone needs to know which other 2 Bibles I want to unlock... right?

Thanks.

Right. And such personal sales inquiries are best emailed to sales (at) accordancebible (dot) com.

Sure thing Helen. No problem, I just wasn't sure if it was a sales inquiry or a technical one. Let me explain how I got confused. This kind of stuff only happens to me.

Until this evening, I actually thought I had already installed the other 2 Bibles. I didn't realize you had to use the basic installer to also unlock additional Bibles. Although I did use the NIV unlock key to unlock the NIV Bible when I initially installed the introductory package. I had no problem understanding that because I was provided the NIV unlock key on my original invoice and it was posted on my online account. So when I got the upgraded package and didn't see any other unlock keys, I suppose I assumed that the installer would ask me what other 2 Bibles I wanted to unlock. When that didn't happen, I got to looking for any specific instructions on how to unlock extra Bibles that came with the Premiere package.

I ended up putting the main disk in the DVD drive and navigated to the Bibles folder. I then double clicked on two additional Bibles that I wanted to install directly from DVD (not using the basic installer mind you). The Bibles opened right up and I wasn't asked for any unlock keys, so guess I assumed they installed without having to enter any unlock keys. However, these 2 Bibles had actually been installed already with the Premiere upgrade but I just didn't realize these 2 selected Bibles were part of that upgrade. (Make Sense?)

Anyway to make a short story longer, this evening I was completing an inventory on everything that was installed, that's when I realized the Bibles I thought I had installed directly from the DVD without entering any unlock keys, were actually part of the package and didn't require to be unlocked. I only came to the conclusion in my post above as I was writing the post, but thought I would go ahead post it to conform if I was right.

Perhaps I've overlooked some instruction somewhere, but I searched all over the place for some help. I searched the website, the blog, I looked for an online training video and even looked for a video podcast on the subject of unlocking additional Bibles to no avail. I'm probably the only person that has ever been confused on this issue before. I probably would of figured it out if I would of seen some additional unlock key, or if there would of been some instruction somewhere. No big deal, I just thought I would explain the situation in case anyone else has the same problem in the future. I'll send sales an email.

Thanks.

We try to say in our response emails that you need to let us know which Bibles you want to unlock, but many people seem to think that they can unlock them on their own. Even if we could build a system that would allow you to do this, which we cannot, we would still need to know which additional Bibles you wanted as we need to pay the royalties to the publishers. These Bibles are not free to us, we just include the price of the unlocks in each package.
