Hi I was trying to decipher the apparatus modules and determine at least the approximate date for the various versions of a text but I dont see even a century listed in any of the LXX apparatus modules please help

I don't see dates in the LXXS (where the preface is not included), but I do see some dates supplied in the LXXC. Sometimes you need to scroll up or down after clicking on the abbreviation/siglum to see the date information.

I have this result in gen 11:12 last word last source in lxxc

 

c2 (135) Bale, AN. III. 13 (Omont 1)

 

Is this refering to

 

(135)= year 135 AD

Or III= 3rd century AD

or 13= 13th century AD

I don't think any of those represent the date of the MSS, as none of the 'Cursive MSS' seem to include a date. I believe the parenthesized number represents the MSS number by Holmes and Parsons based on the note: "In the case of MSS. used by Holmes and Parsons, their numbers are here given in brackets after our symbols." They say bracketed, but I think that is the same as the parentheses. I checked the print ed. and there wasn't any further information about this witness other than what is included in our module.
