The complement appears to include results more than just the direct object. You are correct -- the complement is a broader item than the direct object. Finding the direct object requires using the clause searching function, which is being reprogrammed as we speak. I have to ask you to be patient. When the syntax searching is updated (perhaps with 9.04), I'll post on how to do a few searches like this -- and I'll include the direct object for you (and many others who have asked about this).
