9.0.4 Still Hanging Up

Hi All:

9.0.4 cleared up some of the problems I was having under 9.0.3. However, there are still a few problems remaining. I am still experiencing the problem with hesitation in resizing windows by dragging the bottom right corner, as well as hesitation when switching tabs and scrolling. Are these known issues? Or perhaps the problem is on my end?

Thanks

When you say hesitation, do you mean general sluggishness or actual pauses? It is a known issue that resizing lots of text is a little slow, and we are working to improve it. However, you shouldn't have long pauses everytime you switch tabs.

Thanks for responding, Joel.

As far as the tabs and scrolling, a general sluggishness. But the resizing of the window is very slow to respond, especially when several zones and tabs are present.

Just had a check of this on my workspace and where I have a number of panes on a tab in a zone there is not an immediate response when you click that tab. Hesitation is probably the best word to describe it. The pane that is currently selected seems to start to appear first then the rest. This is not the case when selecting a tab that has no panes.

Just tried it again to make sure and this only seems to occur if the panes are a different configuration on one tab to another. I have two tabs that have a number of panes on them that are texts that are configured the same and the switch is immediate.

Same sort of thing happens with scrolling. Just a slight hesitation on paned tabs although I think this might be that I also have a lot of linked texts on other tabs/zones.
